Special guest song from Julie D.! I’ve spent the day at Occupy London Stock Exchange and am filled with inspiration for songs. AND: Jarvis was there.

Guest Star Post from Northernmidwife:
Who says miracles can’t happen?
Personally i think the fact that the song i wrote for ben to be posted as today’s song is about changing the world for the better. . . And it turns out the reason he couldn’t post today is that he’s been at Occupy London. . . is pretty cool.
And it’s true, no? If everyone put down their guns/egos/shovels and picked up their ukeleles, and actually listened to the multitude of life’s activities around them, and re-connected to how small a part of the picture us humans are, we’d stop tha crap. I reckon.
Thanks and love to the north east after dinner crew, who you’ll hear post-prandially jamming along.
Peace
Let’s Set the World to Rights
Let’s set the world to rights by setting it to music
Let’s set the world to rights by setting it to music
What would we hear? Footfall of deer
Melting snow and engineers
Concrete pouring; cranes flying…
Let’s set the world to rights by setting it to music
Let’s set the world to rights by setting it to music
Pondweed growing, algae dying,
metal smelting, plantas crying
Let’s set the world to rights by setting it to music
Let’s set the world to rights by setting it to music
What would we hear? Water on weirs
Badgers sniffling, mountains falling
Bluetits singing, lentils boiling
Ferrets squeaking, tankers leaking,
slugs a-glooping, sailboats slooping
Many waves, many waves…
Let’s set the world to rights by setting it to music
Yeah Let’s set the world to rights by setting it to music
Pine trees creaking, egg whites peaking, lavas flowing, cancers spreading
Brown bears snoring, water pouring, water rushing, clouds forming
Cells dividing, skuars diving, whales sifting, fruit bats thriving
And music, and music, and music, and music, and music, and music, and music oh yeah!

Delightful! … reminds me how much I also like the Nicaraguan band Grupo Pancasan…
